What's new in which version?

Version 1.031

Available since February 23, 2026

  • UPS/EPS output added to converter: for a converter, a UPS/EPS output can be indicated, which can then be used as a voltage source for security components in a fuse box.
  • General (manual) switch, power switch and power divider switch added in distribution box: under the types of manual switches in the distribution box, the symbol for a power switch and a power divider switch was added, as well as a general switch (relay symbol).
  • AED (defibrillator) and a "You are here" symbol added: under the alarm symbols (for evacuation plan) an AED device symbol and a "You are here" symbol were added.
  • UPS output converter also included in block diagram and cable tracing: the connections between the fuse boxes were already automatically added to a block diagram and/or cable tracing. The connections between a distribution board and a UPS output of a converter are also automatically included in these diagrams.
  • Bugs fixed: some bug fixes
Version 1.030

Available since January 25, 2026

  • Free rotation of components on the situation diagram: all components on the situation diagram can be manually rotated.
  • General component without control circuit in the distribution box: in the distribution box, it is possible to place and use a general component without a control circuit to "switch" other components in the project.
  • Multiple selection of components in the distribution box: by selecting multiple security components in the distribution box together (by dragging with the mouse or selecting with the mouse and CTRL key), certain attributes can now be adjusted at once for all these components. For example, for multiple automatic switches together, the nominal current, cable type, cable section, etc. can be adjusted together.
  • Multiple sockets displayed differently: socket boxes with more than 3 sockets under 1 cover are now displayed as a single socket with a number next to it indicating the number of sockets.
  • Order of RCDs on single-line diagram: RCDs are drawn in alphabetical and/or numerical order on the single-line diagram.
  • Bugs fixed: some bug fixes
Version 1.029

Available since January 8, 2026

  • Free naming of security components: automatic switches can now also be freely named. By default, Schematicals will still use the alphabetical naming (A, B, C,...), but this can be deviated from by manually entering a different name.
  • Copy-paste function everywhere: the copy-paste function, which was previously only possible with security components in the distribution box, can now also be used on all structures on the floor plan and all components on the situation diagram.
  • Multiple selection for terminals on the cabinet design: by selecting multiple terminals on the cabinet design together, the characteristics or attributes of these terminals can be adjusted together.
  • Comment field adjusted: the comment field in the installation data, which is printed on the cover page, has been adjusted so that a continuous text can be typed instead of line by line.
  • Backup when changing version number: when changing the version number, the option will be offered to make a backup of the diagrams under the previous version number.
  • Bugs fixed: some bug fixes
Version 1.028

Available since December 2, 2025

  • Label length adjusted: the maximum allowed length of component labels has been increased from 16 to 25 characters.
  • Different types of power sources: it is now possible to specify a different power source for an installation. Until version 1.027, it was only possible to specify a meter box as the power source of the installation, now it is possible to choose a meter box, a generator, a socket or enter a free text to name a power source.
  • Rail clamps possible on surge protection: a surge protection can now also be placed on rail clamps.
  • New symbols for fire detection: the symbols for the fire detection system were adapted to symbols according to the ISO 7010 standard.
  • Table with clamps: the table with (rail) clamps was adapted to be more detailed.
  • Bugs fixed: for the development of version 1.027 and the implementation of multi-wire aspects in a single-wire schema, a very thorough adaptation of the code was necessary, which led to some errors or bugs being introduced. The reported bugs were fixed in this new version.
Version 1.027

Available since November 17, 2025

  • Add rail clamps: until version 1.026, it was only possible to add rail clamps with a general label in the installation, just behind an automatic switch. From version 1.027, it is possible to place rail clamps anywhere in the installation. The clamps can be defined with different "inputs" (max 4) where the voltage comes from and different "outputs" (max 4) per input where the incoming voltage is distributed further in the installation.
  • Voltage display on clamps: per input of a rail clamp, the incoming voltage (phase, neutral, +, -, signal, common) can be indicated.
  • Automatic creation of table with clamps: a table is also automatically generated with all clamps (clamp row, clamp number, connections) for a clear overview in the file.
  • More intuitive addition of extra components: the addition of extra components on a branch of the power circuit or line, such as transformers, kWh meters, junction boxes, and thus clamps, can now be immediately placed in the correct position on the line.
  • Adjustable text size in attributes: the text in the attributes field can now be adjusted via the settings to make it more readable on 4K laptop screens.
  • Version of the schemas: the version of the schemas will now also be indicated on the schemas.
  • Bugs fixed: several bug fixes
Version 1.026

Available since February 19, 2024

  • Table with power circuits for distribution board: per distribution board or per design of a distribution board, an automatically generated table with power circuits can be printed or exported to MS Excel. This table shows the name, label, and description, which are automatically taken over from the labels of the connected components. The description can be manually adjusted
  • Favorite domotica modules: in the "Domotica" tab, favorite modules of all types of domotica modules can now also be saved and used across projects.
  • Favorite inverter, batteries, and solar panels: favorite inverters, solar panels, and batteries can be saved and reused across projects.
  • Maximum modules per row in cabinet design increased: the maximum number of modules per row in the design of a distribution board has been increased to 40 modules.
  • Multi-select function of shared lighting circuit changed: by selecting one lighting point of a shared lighting circuit in combination with the CTRL key, all lighting points of this shared circuit are now selected. When changing the power circuit, the shared circuits are preserved, which was not the case before
  • Helper conductors can be added to cable types: with cable types, it is now possible to add helper conductors (number and wire cross-section) to include, for example, cables of the type 4x60+1x75mm2.
  • Bugs fixed: several bug fixes
Version 1.025
